Hello,
I'm having an issue with the links on my blog. They do not seem to be working, even after I link them to a legitimate site. They only highlight the box. Why are the links not working? Please see images. I've also included my site access information in the private forum.
Hi Edmund,

I just tried to replicate the issue on your site by creating a blog post and then add some text link inside the content and it seems like everything is working fine from my end. Check my screenshot here, http://screencast.com/t/Pw38oBfKFdg . You can also try to view the blog post that I just created from the link here (change yoursite.com with your domain name), http://yoursite.com/join-the-club/fish-blog/recreational-fishing/entry/testing-link-post .

Am I missing something here?

Ezrul,

Yes, there's something wrong with the template I chose. Your test blog link worked fine, but write another using the "Template for News", not a blank one. And then try to test a link on a published blog. It won't work. Is there a fix for this? I'm going to have to re-write my blog using another template.

Hi Edmund,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply

Hm, you are right. I can replicate the issue in my local instance as well. It seems like the issue is coming from the contenteditable is true for the news template hence the link will not working correctly. I am not really sure how can I fix this issue but I already logged this into our issue tracker and our developers will take a look on this issue and hopefully fix this in the next release of easyblog. I will get back to you as soon the fix is ready.

Thanks for understanding.
