Hello -
When I attempt to sign in to grant access, I get the following errors:
Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /administrator/index.php on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I have successfully set up LinkedIn autoposting on a different site on the same server, so I don't think server permissions are the issue. Also, I have tried revoking and regenerating the OAuth token and that did not help. I have also tried checking rw_nus and adding an OAuth 2 Redirect URL but again no luck.

I've included login info below...

Thanks,
Peter
Hello Peter,

That error message seems to be coming from your web server because looking at the error message, the call didn't even reached Joomla's index.php file. There are times where your hosting provider actually install some sort of security module which prevents certain "data" from being posted to the server.

Thanks, Mark. We'll check and see if the host installed some new security software recently.

Sure, let me know how it goes Peter but I am pretty sure that based on that error message that you are hitting, it's definite that the POST data isn't reaching Joomla's index.php file.

Hi, Mark -
We had our host (Rochen) have a look and they are saying there's not an issue with their security firewall. I've attached their responses (including output from 2 traces). Let me know if you need to speak with them directly.

I noticed someone else seems to be having similar issues - http://stackideas.com/forums/linkedin-autoposting-3

Should we try what Arlex is suggesting here?

Thanks,
Peter

Hi Arlex - here is our account information....

I will be watching for your linked in sign in again today - I did not realize it was you - I will send you the access code when you get that security check...

ALSO - we just upgrade to Joomla 3.3.0 - and it appears to have had some effects on EasyBlog - so this may effect your testing as well...

Thanks for all your help.

Cheers,

Hello Peter,

Thanks for your access code, i can able to access in your Linkedin account now.
It seems like when i click Sign in with Linkedin, also hitting this 404 permission forbidden
As Mark had mentioned before, the call didn't even reached Joomla's index.php file.

Is it possible consult this again with your Webhosting provider and see how it goes?
If they have mod_security installed, get them to turn them off. There is nothing we can do about this because this is beyond our control.
