Is there anyway to limit the showcase module to a specific category or categories?

Sorry for late reply to this,
Unfortunately we do not have this option for restrict only show specific category post in the showcase module in current system.

Okay I have just done it! I set the category field in the showcase module to the category id's that I wanted to limit the showcase module to in Components > Easyblogs > Categories.

Sure - as above. I looked up the ID of the category that I created under Components > Easyblog > Categories and added it in the category field of the showcase module.

Great Support Arlex! Your'e then one who is supposed to know how to do this and you are palming it off onto the person who asked the question in the first place. Thankfully John persevered and found a solution (which Arlex you should have known how to do). Almost seems as if you were being lazy in your support like many other support providers I shall not name! I expect a bit more from stack ideas support as they have always been of the utmost diligence in the past. So please let's not go down the slippery slope of lazy support and either get someone in who can provide the correct support or provide correct training to those who are supplying the support.

Yes, you can put the category ID in the particular field there. Glad to heard you found out the solution.
