Hi guys!

Is it possible to limit the category to a blogger? In other words, I would prefere that bloggers could write each one on their own category not allowing them to use other bloggers categories. Is it possible to predefine such option?

Thank you!
Hello Racardo,

Ah I see. Unfortunately it is not possible to do so.

Perhaps you can voice out your ideas in our easyblog voices page, http://stackideas.com/voices/easyblog so that other people can vote for it.

Hello Ricardo,

Yes it is possible. You can go to category manager from your backend > easyblog > category > select the category > category access. http://screen.stackideas.com/2015-05-22_1824.png . Hope these help.

Hi Ezrul! Nice to hear from you!
Yes, I've tryed that... but that allows me to set the acces for a certain group. I want to set of a blogger. For instance:

Charlie writes in a categorie called "Life in a blog" he is the author of this category. But then Lizzie who writes on "Fashion" also can write on "life in a blog" messing up Charlie's category.

What I was intendig to do is limit the categories to their authors. Only who creates the category could select it from the categories menu when creating a post. Otherwise having categories owners has no purpose (my opinion).

(by the way, I'll need your help again soon, buying easydiscuss next week - looking forward to see it pumping on my portal!)
