Hi
Everything with EasyBlog is good but for the front end posting it isn't showing the top menu bar and so it is impossible to post on the front.

I don't have this with any other page and I've tried amending the template but nothing has helped and I don't want to destroy the current layout.

This is one of the biggest challenge that we extension developers face. Take a look at the z-index defined by your template provider, http://screencast.com/t/2lmi0R5Z2Vey . It's insane!

The only way to fix this is to reduce their z-index to a more sane value! Try adding this into your template's css file,
