Hi,

1.
I have a couple of Latest easyblog modules on my home page that I am having trouble setting up. At the moment when I click on a link it opens up the article on my home page - where I would normally expect it to open the actual article in my blog page sections. It actually makes my home page look distorted the way it currently works. How do I prevent this and get it to work as it should?

2.
secondly, I want to replace the placeholder images with the blogs own image, but nothing I have tried so far has any effect. I tried photo options, category option-avatar etc. Where do I set this image?

3.
Finally, is it possible to have the image display to the left of the text as opposed to above? I just want small avatar sized images, with the text to the right, one row onder the other (currently I have it set at 2 columns, but will change it to 1 if I can get the desired list effect i am after. I did try selecting left align in the photo settings, but I am guessing this has nothing to do with the default image that is currently displaying?

I am desperate to be able to put site live today so any help would be gratefully appreciated. I was originally using a roksprocket module but it doesnt work with easyblog5 and there still isn't an update from rockettheme so have switched to this module instead.

Kind regards

Mel
Hi,

1.
I have fixed issue:Latest Blog Articles opening on the homepage.

I did this by going into the Blog administrator, then SEO, then advanced and selecting the default value for opening the blog links. I hope this was the correct solution as it seems to be working for me.

2 and 3
I would still like to know how I get the image picture from the blog content to display

Kind regards

Mel

Hello Mel,

I am sorry for the delay of this reply as it weekends for all of us here.

#2. You can change the image placeholder from your /components/com_easyblog/themes/wireframe/images/placeholder-image.png .

#3. Do you mean you want the blog image to be display like this, http://screen.stackideas.com/2015-06-29_1718.png ? Currently easyblog wireframe theme will do just that. Perhaps you might want to give it a try and see how it goes? You can change the themes from your backend > easyblog > themes > themes. Do note that this is only applicable if you are using blog cover as your blog image.
