Hi,

I'm using Komento instead of the comment system which is integrated in Easyblog.
While the Komento Module is showing the comments counter on blog articles, Easyblog is showing zero counts, although there are comments on the blog article.

Anybody any ideas

cheers
Michael
Hey there,

Is it possible for you to provide us with the back end and FTP access to your site to check on this issue?

To add your access, simply edit your first post above or head on to http://stackideas.com/dashboard/site to insert your site access once only.

Hi.

Sorry for the delay.
There is no FTP account. But you can use ProFiles from the components menu.
Then you should be able to access files.

Hi Mark,

I replaced the file and getting a Server error 500.
Both files are in the same directory.
The new one is called _new.

So you can renale it again.
I am using the old file again so i can use the blog again.

FTP access works sich the component profiles...

Thanks
Alex

This is the error generated and it is probably due to file permissions. I cannot seem to change the file permissions with Profiles, http://screencast.com/t/nr9FraHU9kCU

Hi Alexandra,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply.

It seems like the file that Mark provided above are related with the other fix that we have made with the categories count issue previously. I've applied the fix inside your /administrator/components/com_easyblog/models/category.php and the sql error is no longer shown. I've also checked the comment count on your easyblog and it seems to show correctly now. Please have a look.

Same error. With the file comment.php (from Mark), that's ok. Thanks.
