I would like to see point integration for comments to user articles (comments give points to author), if you are considering Jomsocial point integration.

User Point Integration is actually implemented but due to a minor bug, this is still not working properly.

We've already fix this internally and we will be releasing a final build soon.

Is there any update on integrating Komento to allow for commenting of activity stream assets?

This is actually a shortcoming from JS itself because there is no API for us to utilize.

I see that is a bummer! - I did have jcomments integrated with JS with an earlier version but it was not an API call rather a hack. Maybe with future releases of JS we might be more lucky - going to have to find a stop gap solution

I can see how a hack is possible (by manually calling Komento or calling a content trigger). But in the mean time unfortunately we will have to see if JS does update to include an API.

It seems that there is finally a new activity stream API V2 - which is now in the process of being documented:

According to Merav:
"In 2.8, Azrul had made a lot of changes in activity stream. Its mainly to improve the stream performance. One of the changes is remove aggregate activities. Azrul remove the {multiple} tag support from the stream. However azrul add a new api called 'onCommunityStreamRender' to allow 3rd party developer to manipulate their stream contain."
