Hello,

I am french, i don't speak very well. I am sorry.

I use komento 1.8.3 and community builder 2.0
I work with local machine, not with a website.

I have two problems.

First :
I create a user. He has a login and a password but it's not possible to login with the login form of komento. Komento dont' find the user....

Second problem :

I use community builder to change the avatar of my user.
But, if i change an option of komento, to use avatar of community and not "gravatar" (default option) I have a bug. A guest or a user can't post a comment.

I test with a first version of my website but i have the same problem.

Have you got an idea to resolve this problem ?

**************************
I don't have this bug and the login problem with community builder 1.9.1
Hello,

I've tried to replicate your issues using CB 2.0 and seems like I have no issue with the login provider: http://screencast.com/t/fWDLqi3P4m . This login provider is to generate Registration Link and also Forgot Password for the login form in Komento.

As for the second issue, also I can't replicate it in my local. You may want to upload your site to temporary server so we can access it to debug.

Thanks.

The fisrt problem is already here. The probleme is not to create a user with the link. The link "resgister" and "forget password" are ok. When you create a user with community builder, the user has a login and a password but with the login form in komento, you can't login on my web site... komento don't find my user with the good login and the good password.

The second problem... i have tested with default joomla 3.3.3. The bug displays when you click on submit button. :-(
I don't understand this problem. I hope, in the next version of komento, i don't find this problem. Do you know when the next version of komento pro can be downloaded ?

Thanks

Hello,

We cannot replicate both your first issue in our local. However, we have already fixed the second issue in our repo and will be included in the next release. We are unable to provide the fix for you because there are lot of files you need to replace. It is advisable to wait for the next release.

Hello,

Hm, if you can't reproduce this issue on your site, I am not really sure how we can reproduce this since we do not have access to your localhost

Hello Leonardo,

Seems like it is compatibility issue. Can you provide us your backend and FTP access so we can have a better look on your issue here? Please advise.

Hello Leonardo,

Can you also provide us full access to your FTP? http://screen.stackideas.com/2014-11-19_1830.png or can you change the error_reporting to none in your configuration.php: http://screen.stackideas.com/2014-11-19_1837.png . Please advise.

The error i get is
Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in public_html/administrator/components/com_k2/lib/class.upload.php on line 5011
Is it possible to have my administration working while you're checking the problem with komento?
Thank you

Hello Leonardo,

Based on the error, it came from K2 file. Means that it has exceeded maximum execution time of your server. You can either consult with K2 or ask your server hosting to increase the max_execution_time . I'm not sure why this is happening. What I did just access your admin site and change the error reporting to maximum which you have already changed that back to none.

Hello Leonardo,

The issue is not because of the Community Builder. It is because of the SEF. It cannot find login.html hence it will redirect to the homepage. I've added URL for login to Community Builder. Please have a look.

Hello Leonardo,

It will only redirect you to a login page if most of your menu's are restricted to "Registered" as Joomla will try to associate the link with the available menu item for com_users. You probably want to create a hidden menu which links to com_users and have the access set for this menu to "Public".

Thanks Mark,
i'm not sure i understood what you mean.
i have CB instead of joomla standard user management so i have a hidden public menu that links to User Profile (mandatory in CB)... is that the one you mean? Should i create a voice also for joomla user?
And what about the Guest icon not showing?
Thanks again

Hello Leonardo,

I've fixed the login issue. It is because of this Community Builder System plugin where it will redirect user to CB login page whenever user want to login. In Komento Login form, we are using com_users to let user logged in. Once Komento send to access com_users function, it will redirected to CB login. I've turned off this option: http://screen.stackideas.com/2014-11-21_1840.png to stop the redirection. As for the Guest icon, I've fixed it. This avatar issue fix will be included in the next release. The issue is because CB has changed their API of getting the avatar. Hope this helps.
