Hello SI team

OK so I am in the process of moving hoster and this is probably part of the problem.
I have gone to Siteground as my old hoster, well they were old

I posted a blog here:

And things seemed to be working.
I made some minor changes to the post and on saving go the error message as follows:

• JFTP::login: Unable to login
• JFTP: :write: Unable to use passive mode
• JFTP: :write: Unable to use passive mode
• JFTP: :write: Unable to use passive mode
• JFTP: :write: Unable to use passive mode
• JFTP: :write: Unable to use passive mode

Is this post gone?

Is this part of the migration/dns thing which I believe takes up too 72 hours.
When I go here:

http://www.dnswatch.info/dns/dnslookup?la=en&host=finalbug.net&type=A&submit=Resolve

It looks to me as if the Site has already being mapped to Siteground.

Help on this would be greatly appreciated

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

It seems like you're the first person report this error in our forum.

Based on my searching Google, I suspect your Joomla backend >> site >> global configuration >> server >> FTP settings > FTP user credentials is not set correctly, Perhaps you can check is it correct user credentials or disable the FTP Layer and see how it goes

Hurrrrahhhh another first
Yeah I think I can kind of imagine what is going on here...
It is all boxes inside boxes if you ask me.
I will check with my new hoster and see what they say and then get back to you.

Have also seen that Easy Social shows a similar error:

Hi, hi

For any one else who runs into this from my hoster

I have updated the FTP settings in your Joomla control panel -> Site Configuration -> Server Settings. The error message is no longer displayed.
