RSS Feeds stopped working. The links are still accessible. Not sure what happened.

Also some of my tabs in the backend are not displaying correctly
Hey Bobby,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. I tried to access https://mgicomputers.com/tech-news?format=feed&type=rss and it's actually displaying fine for me here.

As for the back end, any specific tabs that you are hitting issues with? I have tried accessing most parts of EasyBlog's back end and they seem to be working fine for me.

Hey Mark,

I normally post approx. 100+ post a day and there are none from any of the feeds for today. When I try to do a test import I get an error "Unable to reach target url " but the url works.

Not really sure if I understand you here Bobby. What do you mean by "test import"?

Hey Bobby,

I believe your hosting provider may have been restricting outgoing access because this error only occurs if EasyBlog is not able to retrieve any contents from the RSS feed.

You can try to contact your hosting provider to see if they recently placed any "firewalls" which prevents outgoing connections.

If you want me to further debug this, by getting the exact error message returned by "curl", please edit the first post above and include the FTP access.

By the way, please remember to assign your domain to your license to obtain for support in the future. You can do so by accessing your license area at http://stackideas.com/dashboard

Hey Mark,

I have added the FTP info. I have disabled ModSecurity on the site and Test Import is still not working. Also getting a different error message from the test import "View not found [name, type, prefix]: login, ajax, loginView "

Did you do anything? Everything started working again yesterday. Everything seems to be ok now. Is there a way to find out what happened?

Also sometimes the feeds don't put in the pictures with the article. Is there something I can adjust to make sure that it does?

Hey Bobby,

I didn't actually make any changes on the site. Perhaps disabling the mod_security fixed this issue? As for the image not appearing in the imported article, it really depends on the source of the article and we can't really ensure that images are always imported.
