Hi,

I am trying to make it so that end-users can create very simple joomla articles from their Profile view (without using easyblog AND without having to create a new menu item somewhere) but i do not see a button (or a settings dropdown) that would trigger joomla article creation. This would be VERY helpful. Maybe it's there and I just don't have something set correctly? The app is set as published and default.

If this doesn't exist, can you point me to the file I would have to alter? I'm sure I can put in a button and have it trigger article creation. I think once in Article view, a setting dropdown would appear allowing a user to do the edit/delete tasks as needed.

(I was attempting to do this with the notes application, but I don't think the notes application was created for this.)

Hi there,

Unfortunately, there is no setting to enable the create article button currently, where this articles apps is functioned as displaying the articles only.
You can customize it in the file:
JOOMLA_FOLDER\media\com_easysocial\apps\user\article\themes\default\profile\default.php
