Hello checksum,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. I have been testing on my site locally and I can't seem to reproduce this issue. Could there be a plugin on your site that is removing the token=xxx values in the URL?

/social/registration?task=activate&token=a728f3fe5a1d2b0ee1a5bcc1588f5976&controller=registration <--- This is the URL that is generated locally in my email

Hi Checksum,

Regarding your issue, can you pass me your Joomla backend and your ftp account so that we can investigate at your issue further?
Please advise.

Hi Sam,

My site info is already included in the form where we fill the Site Details
You don't have to type in the token

Hello checksum,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. After a very long search, it looks like this issue has already been addressed internally and this is why we can't reproduce this issue on our end

On 1.2.8, we have introduced a new settings that allows you to customize the registration behavior for registration signup via oauth. In your case, the current oauth registration signup is configured to be "Approvals". Hence, you shouldn't be getting the activation e-mail unless you configure it in the profile type settings.
