Hi,

i have an issue with "Komento 2.0.9" running on "Joomla 3.6" (seamed to be also an issue on Joomla! 3.5.1 as far as I could see in my local demo environment). When a user is trying to post a comment (Visitor or Guest) then he got the error "Invalid reCAPTCHA response". I tried the fix mentioned here but that didn´t solved the issue. It only shows then "Captcha required". To troubleshoot that issue I currently use the Beez3 template in my test environment, so you should be able to reproduce the issue.

Keep noted that I use Komento on localhost, so I couldn´t share my website. But if useful i could setup a temp. demo System.
Can you try download my attached following fix files and replace into

JoomlaFolder\components\com_komento\themes\kuro\comment\form\editor.php
JoomlaFolder\components\com_komento\themes\kuro\comment\recaptcha.php

and see how it goes?

Edit: its working (sorry didn´t deleted the cache, so i need to edit that posting here:p ). I also checked that with the original template (which isn´t Beez).

So thanks for the fix. Will that be included in a further release or only a fix for my situation?

Yes, all these fix will included in next release version.

As a gentle reminder, kindly start a new thread if you have any other issue in the future so it will be easier for us to manage your inquiry. I will lock and mark this thread as resolved.

Hi, just upgraded to Komento 2.0.10 and the issue is back ...

1.)isn´t the the reported problem here fixed in the latest version?
2.) Can I reuse the fix above?
3.) When can I expect that the fix is persistence?

Unfortionally not as that's an intranet installation. What did you need to check, then I can perform the steps for you.
