We are getting an Error 0 invalid address page on one of our sites. The problem comes and goes since last Friday. It only happens with Easyblog pages, all other pages are fine.
Joomla 3.5.1 Easyblog 5.0.35
We have over hundred other sites with the same setup and they do not have this issue.
Any ideas?
Thank you.
Hey there,

We can't really tell you what the issue is all about unless we have the access to the site to check on this but I am suspecting that there is an invalid email in the email activity. Perhaps you could try to purge the email activities at the back end and see if the error still persists?

OK..thanks for your help. I'll try the purge. The news section started working again last night and it is working now but I'm sure it will happen again. If we continue to have issues I'll send you login info so you can take a look.

Hello, so your idea of purging the email activities did fix the issue. However the problem keeps happening and we have to keep purging the mail activity every few days. Is there anyway to set it so it either purges automatically or is there a way to find out where this bad email is?

Thanks

hey there,

It would be best if you can provide us with your following details :
1. Joomla backend access
2. FTP access
3. PHPmyadmin (database access)
4. Give us screenshot regarding the whole page error.

I thought I already gave you guys a screenshot...it's just the standard Joomla 0 Error Invalid Address page. I can't give you another one until it happens again.
We do not like to give back-end access as this is a police website with very sensitive information.
Can you please tell us some possible solutions we could try to prevent this from happening.
We have looked through all the emails on the site and don't see any obvious bad ones.

Thanks

I am sorry for the delay of this reply,

I've checked back your first post, it seems like you missed attached that screenshot, this is why we asking again.

By the way, currently I can't give you any solution for this without check your site yet, because that will related a few possibility, perhaps you can double check from your subscription page user email address and see is it got invalid email.

To check this :
---------------------
1. Backend > Easyblog > mail activity > check one by one which email address is invalid
2. Backend > Easyblog > subscription > check each of subscription type email address which is invalid

OK..thanks..it looks like we may have found the issue. The from email in Global Config. was blank and apparently with Joomla 3.5.1 this can cause the 0 Error invalid Address message...it was happening on the contact page after submission also and filling in that box fixed it.
