Introtext in e-mail notification from Share Story plug-in

We added a menu item with the Share Story plug-in to our Easy Blog site (version 3.9.15370). The plug-in loads normally and users can add an entry and submit with no problems. However, the e-mail notification to subscribers does not show the introtext of the announcement. The blog author, title and post information is all correct. The only thing missing is the Introtext. Blogs entered through our front-end using the full new post plug-in work fine and the e-mail notification shows the introtext correctly. The problem is only happening from the share story plug-in.
