Installed EasyBlog 5.0.17 (i had Ver 3) - site has crashed!

I've just installed the latest version on top of my existing version - when I uploaded into Joomla 3.3 i got a msg ...something like "Files already exist - please continue" - and so I hot the Continue button - and then the screen went blank. MY website is down - http://www.freshstartcoaching.co.uk
Also if I try to login as admin I get the login screen as normal, put my details in - but the next screen goes totally blank - so I can't do anything in Joomla ??

That's what happened - I can't get in at all via Joomla/administrator - it brings up a blank screen.

Hey Eoin,

May I know which version did you tried to install earlier? Did you downloaded 5.0.17 or an older release? By the way, when accessing the FTP, I don't seem to see any folders there except for log files. Can you please advise?

To access the back end, this is what you need to do, rename the folder /plugins/users/easyblogusers to another name.

HI. I renamed that easyblog folder as you suggested - to /plugins/users/oldeasyblogusers.

Now I can into Joomla The site still doesn't load though.

u can login to Joomal as below.

To answer your question, the version i uploaded was easyblog full community ver 5.0.17.

oops - the site is fine but Easyblog doesn't seem too happy! I tried changing a post ( just a line) and keep getting ...

An error has occurred.
400 Unable to set as revision as current revision on post.

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. The ftp access which you have provided to us doesn't seem to allow us to access your Joomla files. I am only seeing log files

Can you please advise?
