Hello Anil,

Its most likely due to the your max_execution time value in php.ini is too low. Can you check from your joomla backend > system > system information > PHP information, and then search for "max_execution_time" using the browser search function and see the current value. You can refer my screenshot here, http://screen.stackideas.com/2015-05-28_1926.png .

By the way without having direct access its hard for us to tell what is the root issue that you facing currently. All we can do is guiding you with the best possibilities of why the error is appear during installation. On extra note, go to your joomla backend > system > global configuration > server, and turn error reporting to maximum while turning off the gzip compression as you can see from my screenshot here, http://screen.stackideas.com/2015-05-28_1929.png . If there any error showing during the installation, kindly take a screenshot and sent it to us here so we can have a better look on the issue.

Looking forward for your response.

Hello Anil,

Have you try to install it via directory? You need to extract the zip file for example into this folder ../tmp/eb. Then, you can install via directory by including the path: http://screencast.com/t/k9LMIMCL . If the problem still persist perhaps you can create a live site and then provide us with the credentials access so we can help you with the installation directly.

In your root Joomla! install directory, create a file called "phpinfo.php" and place the following line inside:

<?php phpinfo(); ?>

http://support.hostgator.com/articles/specialized-help/technical/phpinfo

Open your website with a URL similar to this example:
http://mysite.tld/phpinfo.php

Verify that max_execution_time is at a suitable size.

Other things to check:
Joomla! version (2.5.what?)
PHP version
Installed components and plugins (these may cause conflict with install)

Also try to redownload the installer, upload onto the server directly, and install via directory.

Also, is this a new site or pre-existing? Linux or Windows server?

As well, please confirm minimum requirements are met:

http://stackideas.com/docs/easyblog/administrators/setup/system-requirements

Another thing to try: create a new subdirectory, perhaps called "test", and perform a clean install of Joomla with a different database. If the install works, there's something misconfigured in your current installation. If it fails, I suspect a server misconfiguration or incorrect software versions.

Hi Anil,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

it seems like you are using very old php version, because our Easyblog extension php version requirement is 5.3+ or above.

Can you try upgrade your php version and see how it goes?

If you didn't do the initial setup of the server and not familiar with managing, you'll want to determine if you're using IIS or Apache. Based on my searching, knowing which you have will determine your method of upgrading.
