We've used the site iconosquare.com, to create an RSS feed from our Instragram account; so that we could set that feed as a source for the Easyblog importer. However after doing this, the importer only imports 2 of the Instagram posts from this feed out of over 70 posts; and none of the pictures will import either. How do we make this work, and is there an alternative or better way of integrating our Instagram posts into automated Easyblog posts?
Hello Todd,

Have you checked the feed amount you want to fetch? http://screencast.com/t/7vAzIphA . If is possible, can you provide us with backend access and the Instagram feed link that you used to get the feed so that we can assist you on this issue.

Please be advise.
Thanks.

Originally it was left empty/undefined, as the explanation for this field is vague and other feed imports I've created had been left empty in that field without any issue. Just now I edited that field and input "10" and executed the import, and it imported 10 new posts from the feed - but it's still not importing pictures....

The feed link is http://iconosquare.com/feed/creativeartfurniture

For example, this post here: http://iconosquare.com/p/827122457954618957_1479077178
That one imported just now, but the image did not import with it.

Hello Todd,

Is it possible for you to provide us with the back end and FTP access to your site to check on this issue?

Hello Todd,

I've accessed to your backend but it seems like I don't have full access to it: http://screencast.com/t/phf80Nm93V . Can you provide us full access user? Please include the access details in the Site Details below the reply form. However, you might want to try this to generate RSS for your Instagram account:
Replace the username to your instagram's username.
http://widget.websta.me/rss/n/username

Copy this URL and paste it in Feed URL form here: http://screencast.com/t/1oDZvTRFDX0 . I've tested in my local and its working.

Hey Nik,

I made the change to the user to make them an Administrator of the site. I also tried changing the feed url to widget.websta.me/rss/n/creativeartfurniture.

It seems to work better.. but not exactly the way I want it. I want to be sure that the text and picture come in from instagram. I'd also like it if the picture and text was displayed in the "introtext" so that you can see it in the blog entry listing. All i'm seeing now is a thumbnail of the picture in the listing of blog entries. If i click on the entry, it does show the image.. but no text about what was written. Then if i click on the picture, or a thumbnail in that view, it takes me to the websta.me site. Also not all that desireable.

If you could take a look and check to see what could be done here, these are my general requirements.

1. Picture and text from instagram are displayed in the blog entry listing
2. Picture and text from instagram are displayed in the blog entry view
3. Any pictures or links shoot the user off to the creativeartfurniture instagram site in a new tab or window.

Thanks

Hello Todd,

I've checked my local based on your requirement and seems like the text is appearing in listing view and also in entry view: http://screencast.com/t/iG31v3xTYgb . As for the links of the picture, I'm sorry but it is not possible because the picture is retrieved from the websta.me site. I can't inspect your site because I don't have full access to the component: http://screencast.com/t/EVCaIh41Q .

Is there something I can check on in the component, with my full access, that might help work this out? Is there any other way of integrating Instagram into Easyblog?
