LinkedIn just posted a blog featuring their new design direction for mobile, and I have to say their use of screen real estate on profile page view is phenomenal, I have attached an image and a link for more images and info for your inspiration.

I also suggest you draw some inspiration from LinkedIns profile page in general, as they are a content/niche based service, like many of our websites are. The profile page is a great area of opportunity for improvement.
