Hi SI Team

Can I insert a pdf in a link block in a blog post?

This is not working for me!

This is the pdf that I am trying to insert:

http://www.spherico.com/filmtools/TitleExchange/XTE/XTE%20Help.pdf

Using the instructions here:

http://stackideas.com/docs/easyblog/administrators/composing/link-block

I am attempting to do so here:

http://finalbug.net/blog/entry/547-fcp-x-subtitles-the-missing-manual-part-02

(This last link is Currently only viewable as an admin)

I attempt to insert the pdf link and nothing happens.

best

Paul
You don't need to place a ".dmg", just "dmg" would do. Just changed this for you and it works fine.

Nope, if you need to insert a PDF, use the file block.

Mark you are faster than your own Forum notification software
OK got it thanks.
So I guess that it is the same for a file image eg .dmg
http://www.spherico.com/filmtools/TitleExchange/XTE/XTE%20Install.dmg
Will test this now.

thanks

Mark I hate to say this but:

"Supports doc, pdf, zip and exe."

Have tried uploading a dmg and dragging one in there.
Neither method work

If you want to allow .dmg, you can edit the settings in Settings > Media > General

Hi Mark

I have done as you instructed.
But no joy!
Please see first screen shot.
I am trying to add the atatched .dmg to the very bottom of the Blog post here:

http://finalbug.net/blog/entry/547-fcp-x-subtitles-the-missing-webinars-02

I have a file block set up.
This is a link for the .dmg that I am trying to add

http://www.spherico.com/filmtools/TitleExchange/XTE/XTE%20Install.dmg

Please advise
