Hey Panagiotis,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

I have tried to upload the Easyblog launcher installer zip file through in your Joomla backend installer, it seems like I hitting this error :
Error
There was an error uploading this file to the server.

Unable to find install package

So I've checked your current php information, it seems like your upload_max_filesize is already set to 150M, by right it should not hit this above error because the upload size already set very high.

Then I try to use second installation method install from directory, try to connect with your FTP server and create a new directory folder but I hitting this Disk quota exceeded warning.

Response:	550 Can't create directory: Disk quota exceeded
Command: MKD /public_html/joomla/tmp/eb5
Response: 550 Can't create directory: Disk quota exceeded

I think you have to consult with your Webhosting provider regarding this, it seems like your hosting limited webspace or your server disk space already full.

Keep us updated once your hosting response you.

Hello Arlex,

Thank you for your answer. So I deleted manually, the com_easyblog folders from administrator and frontend folders of joomla, and right now I can see from cpanel that my disk space usage is at 183/300MB. How much space would I need to ask my webhosting provider in order to install the easyblog extension? Before I deleted them the space was at 306/300MB, so would I need something like 120MB?

Thanks alot.

hey Panagiotis,

I have tried to install again, it seems like your server disk space is not enough to fit in.

<b>Warning</b>: file_put_contents(): Only 270336 of 895489 bytes written, possibly out of free disk space in <b>xxx/libraries/joomla/filesystem/file.php</b> on line <b>435</b><br />
{"state":false,"message":"Unable to extract media.zip file. Please contact support."}

Perhaps you can try request with your Webhosting provider to help you increase another 100MB disk space usage and see how it goes?
By the way, I have tested in my locally, the Easyblog 5 installer might not be over 70MB.

Keep us updated then.

Hello Arlex,

So I contacted my web hosting provider and I added another 700 MB in the disk space. I tried to install it by my self again, but this time the installer stucks at 40% at the Initializing Database Synchronization step. Could you try again and see how it goes?

Thanks alot.

Hey Panagiotis,

It seems like some of the Easyblog table is not installed properly in your database, can you provide us with your PHPmyadmin access?
