Sorry but I don't quite get you. If you want to disable media manager, the Flickr integrations wouldn't be possible unfortunately

i develop school blog,in that teacher allowed to post blog not student,but student ask question

i dont want want want to uplod image and any upload attachment in my website, because of performance issue and disk space and bandwidth

so my idea for image display in blog ,teacher can upload image on other image server like fliker, Google and so on
and they five only image link in my site how can i do that

but i am super user ,my teacher not upload and attach file but i can upload and attach file in blog how can i do that

what is gravavatar and how it work.

i have another question in ind

i plan to update easy blog 3.0 to 3.5 when stebal version release,

what is procedure of up-gradation,some one said to me fist uninstall component and the again install it

when i uninstall component ,is there loss of that like blog post,how it work, where my blog post save in in directory in easy blog

Sorry for this late reply. Yes, you're right. To upgrade Easyblog 3.0 to Easyblog 3.5 stable, we suggest user to first uninstall Easyblog 3.0 and then proceed to install Easyblog 3.5.

All the data (blog post, images... etc) will be remain, so do not worry

May i know your above statement, are you referring to two components here? the Blog component ( EasyBlog ) and Ask question component ( EasyDiscuss ) ?
In EasyBlog, yes, you can configure EasyBlog' ACL to allow only your teachers to create blog post and not student. ( I assume teachers and students are from two different Joomla group ).
If you do not want your student to create blog post, when disable EasyBlog acl rule 'write entry' and 'publish entry' on the Joomla group belong to students

Yes, you can set the ACL to disable 'Upload Images' so that your users cannot upload files into your server

Yes, with EasyBlog 3.5 the flicker integration, your user will be able to insert images from ficker into blog post without require your users to upload images to your server. ( You will
need to disable the rule 'Upload Image' from your EasyBlog ACL )

Yes, you can enable the 'Upload Image' to your 'Super User' Joomla group from your EasyBlog backend under ACL page
