Another issue with the so called Migration to easyblog 5.
Is there a way to import the images from the blog posts from version 3.x to Version 5.x ?

I was thinking of using the old structure for the images folder but i see easyblog 5 handles this differently.

Please advice.
This is actually right. Apologies for replying so late ... but the procedure indicated in your article works perfectly.

Thank you .

As long as the old structure is retained as is, it will still work on EasyBlog 5's media manager. However, new posts will automatically use the new folder structure where it is stored on a separate folder based on the post's id.

Ok, not sure if this is the case as the site i am working on is a new installation and I am importing old posts from a different server.
I will try to copy the folders from the old website and see if the images are picked up by the new site.

What about the posts main image. (blog image) ?

Hey Patrick,

As long as the image structure is retained from the old version, all these images would be picked up by EasyBlog 5 without a hitch
