Hi,
I have this small issue where the image chosen for the post isn't the image displayed. The image itself is correct but the framing is wrong. It's displaying a caption and none is chosen in the backend. Please see screenshots.

At one time I had chosen the caption option but that was many versions ago. I've cleared all caches (browser, Joomla) and the image still shows up as having a caption.

It's the first post on the top of the home page.

Please advise.

Mark
Hey Mark,
We have investigated this and found a bug on EasyBlog - Latest Blogs module at the Post Cover>Enable Legacy Behavior setting. When this setting is enabled, the first image in the block is supposed to be moved to the top of the post along with its frame. However, the bug here is that the frame in the old position is not removed. That is why you are seeing the frame of the image there without the image.
We have logged this issue in our tracker. In the meantime, I have helped you disabled that setting so try not to enable that setting for the module until the issue is fixed. Your post in the module should be showing like in the blog post page itself now. Hope this helped you clarify your issue.

Hi Mark,
After investigating, there seems to be a bug here where if the image caption is disabled, the post still shows the image caption if there is one entered before. In your case, I checked your post and enable the caption and we can see a caption in there probably from before. I helped you remove the caption from the text box, disable it, then save the post. Now the caption should not be showing.
I will also log this issue in our tracker so the devs can look into it. Until this is fixed, before publishing the post make sure the caption text field is empty. Because the checkbox does not seem to take effect. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Just checked the site and the caption is gone but the image frame still seems to be there for some reason. Is this connected?

This is on the "teaser" on the front page. When you click through to the full article it's gone but not on the front module's display.

Please see screenshot and note the grey frame on the right side of the text. That used to also have a caption which is now gone but why would the frame remain?

Thanks for your help,
Mark

Stunning work - thank you!

But I think the legacy mode button was ticked by default in the module. That's where it is, right?

Anyway, thank you all for your help in resolving this. Hope the fix comes soon!

Best,
Mark
