I'm trying to embed a video / iframe code snippet in our blog, but after saving the text, the snippet is erased.
I've checked text filters for the admin user, and there are no setting to block iframes.
I've also turned off our RSFirewall plugin, and the iframe is still wiped out.
I've tried using a different editor (built in Easy Blog editor) and iframe code is still not saving.

What's weird is if you save the post, the iframe does show up in the browser, just not the editor...which makes it hard to change or edit things.

The iframe code is:
<iframe src="https://embed-ssl.ted.com/talks/amy_cuddy_your_body_language_shapes_who_you_are.html" width="640" height="360" frameborder="0" scrolling="no" webkitAllowFullScreen mozallowfullscreen allowFullScreen></iframe>

The post is here:

Please advise.
Hey there,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

May i know which editor you used now? If I recall correctly the editor have an option to prohibited which element they don't allow e.g. iframe, script and etc, you can refer on my attached screenshot below.

And also under the Easyblog > ACL section also can prohibited which element do not allow user to use.

By the way, It seems like you provided that login credentials already locked, can you help?

My apologies...please try that user.
We have not text filters via ACL.
Under Composer, I have it set as the EasyBlog Built in Composer.

Please advise...thank you!

Hi there,

You have to add a <html> block to insert the iframe code above as shown http://prntscr.com/bx3jvt and http://prntscr.com/bx3hb9. Then you have to insert those code inside <p> tag as shown http://prntscr.com/bx3hg7. I have tried that at your site and it seem to work fine as shown http://prntscr.com/bx3hnu. It seem that your given URL is not valid and you have to remove "/" before "https". You can refer to my Test_Post.

Hi!

I don't have the option to add an HTML block via the upper left corner like you show for:
http://prnt.sc/bx3jvt

I'm editing the post via the backend.

I was able to toggle the editor to raw HTML and add the iframe w/in the <p> tags.
When I go back into the blog post though, the iframe is gone...but the page still displays correctly:
http://www.thepfathlete.com/blog/entry/posture-presence-personal-power

Please advise on this...as it doesn't seem the same as your post...where you do have that upper left 'Add block' option.

Thank you!

Hi there,

May i know which user group you are referring to? Other than "super user" user group, it seem that you have "Disallowed HTML Tags" and "Disallowed HTML Attributes" as shown http://prntscr.com/bx405m for all user. This disallowed other user to use iframe and others attributes.

I don't have the option to add an HTML block via the upper left corner like you show for:
http://prnt.sc/bx3jvt

It seems that i can add block using your backend as shown http://prntscr.com/bx42cg. Can you provide us with some screenshot and which group you are using for better view of this issues? Please advice.

Hi!

Yes, that's for Author.
The logins we're using are super users/super admins.

Hi there,
The reason you could not add blocks while editing the post "Posture, Presence, and Personal Power" is because that post was created using a different editor. Only the EasyBlog built-in composer is capable of adding blocks. Even though you have switch the composer, while editing post it will always open the composer where the post was made initially. If you would like to use EasyBlog built-in composer, you can remake this post by copying it's contents over to a new post. Hope this helps.
