I would like to integrate easyblog with Chinese social network WeChat - is that possible?
Also, I have a difficulty understanding how log in works with EasyBlog. In the component you have log in page integrated, but not sign up and create account. For this I have tried using a separate log in module, but it seems like it does not get linked to EasyBlog after account is created.

Please help
Thanks
Vlad

Hello Vlad,

EasyBlog does not have a registration form and it falls back to the registration form in Joomla. It only provides you with a login form that allows you to login As for Wechat, I am not really sure what sort of integrations are you looking for but you can always submit new feature requests / ideas to http://stackideas.com/voices/easyblog

How possible is it to get custom built integration with WeChat? In fact EasyBlog has bookmarks for Weibo and dosens of other social networks, WeChat is not one of them. Is it possible to create one?

Thanks

Hello Vlad,

EasyBlog has a built in language selector when you create your blog posts and I think it's just a matter of re-creating the same blog posts in different languages.

Great, but how do you associate the corresponding pages in 2 different languages? Ideally I just want to click change language and open the same blog in other language.

And one more question:
in the Download Language Packs you have Chinese 70%.
1. What is the pack meant to help you with?
2. How do you activate it after installation?
3. Why 70% - what does this mean?

Thanks

Hello Vlad,

I've checked your modules:

Category - You have specified only to show category id 1: http://screencast.com/t/lEryb5ydOR and this category is unpublished: http://screencast.com/t/OzJtj7DsmBBE . That is the reason why it did not displayed.

List - You have enter private category here: http://screencast.com/t/6AwIXXyShr . Can you show me where did you put this module so I can have a look.

Related - This module will be displayed if you viewing the blog entry only. This is because Easyblog want to get the blog data to search for any related blog by tags.

Hello Vlad,

70% means that the language pack is 70% translated. You can download and install it via Extension Manager. And to activate it, you have to make it as default language.

Thanks Nick

List - heres the link. http://chamberscn.com/zh/%E5%88%9B%E4%B8%96%E5%B0%9A%E5%8D%9A%E5%BE%AE%E5%8D%9A/Tags.html as you can see Ive put Tags in the Routing Type settings.

Also, will the system tell whether to show Chinese or English blogs depending on which page you are on?

As for the language, do you mean to activate it as default language in general Joomla settings or in EasyBlog? If EasyBlog - where?

Thanks

Vlad

Ive seen you have added tagged items to Select module. But seems like EasyBlog does not speak different languages. i.e. it brings up blogs in English to chinese pages. Ive tried activating System Language Filter Plug in - no use.
Any suggestions?
