I am trying to add HTML code to a post but not having much luck. I've added other Blocks and have had no issue. The HTML Block seems to be the only one acting funny.

I go to "Add Block" and choose the HTML block. I immediately see a light gray box in the body area that says "Drop Blocks Here" and on the right side, the Blocks tab is active and says "Select a Block TO Begin". The issue is when I go to select the block, it goes away and the body area goes white with no option to select the block again.

If I click the "Drop Blocks Here" area while its highlighted, it goes away and the right side tabs go back to Post.

I've tried this using both Chrome and FireFox. Im using Joomla 3.4.8 and Easy Blog 5.0.31

Tks.,

Marcio Lopes
Hey Marcio,

This is actually a known issue on "production" mode. We're still trying to figure out the issue here. At the mean time, what you could do is to set the site to development mode and the HTML block should work.

I believe this could be due to an issue with the "settimeout" but we're still trying to figure this out.

Hey Marcio,

Go to your settings > system and change the environment to "development". I have done this for you now, can you give this a try again?

Hey Marcio,

We just released 5.0.32 but this still doesn't resolve the html block There's something really strange about the scripts and we're still finding the root of the cause.

Not sure what you mean here. Do you mean were you trying to embed and iframe in the html block?
