I want to get rid of the requirement of having to approve replies and new 'questions/discussions'. I remember disabling 'moderators' somewhere, but the system still sometimes asks me to approve replies.
To disable the approval, you must allow the user to add a reply/question. Here is the example I did for allowing user to add reply in this category permission: http://screencast.com/t/KzisRuebCfw . Thus, these user will be able to post a reply in post from this category without waiting for approval. Hope this helps.
Sorry, i think this is a misunderstanding. What I want to get rid of is the need to mark a reply as accepted. I can't find where this requirement can be turned off.
There is no option to turn that off. Please replace the attached file in: ../components/com_easydiscuss/themes/flatt/post.reply.item.php. Hope this helps.
