I tried searching your forum for removing the footer link. But all the solutions are outdated, I longer able to find the code in the said locations. Please help me.
Hey Thomas,

I am not entirely sure what do you mean by the footer link. Perhaps you can elaborate more on this issue and provide us with the screenshot and the url of your site?

Please advise.

My friend,

Footer link is something located on the footer which is providing a hyperlink to your website even after purchasing easydiscuss.
I hope if you are someone related to this software then you will get an idea about what I am saying if you read the following; "Powered by Easy Discuss for Joomla"

Hello Thomas,

Thank you for your inquiry and elaboration. Justin here, from Stack Ideas' marketing team. the footer linkback "Powered by EasyDiscuss for Joomla" is available only on the Community license for EasyDiscuss. The linkback is removed for our Professional license holders hence should you wish to remove the linkback, please upgrade your license from Community to Pro. The price for an upgrade is $20; you can upgrade by navigating to your dashboard and click on the 'Upgrade plan' button.

Kindly take note that 'upgrading' will not 'extend' your license; your expiry date will remain the same.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other inquiries prior to your upgrade purchase.

Thanks for nothing.
I have already paid for this software which has 1000's of flaws. The basic feature of a commenting system is email notification which is even not working in easydiscuss. If I need to make it work, I have to do a complicated process with cron jobs which is not at all working.
Despite of all these you want to keep a stupid hyperlink and need to pay extra for just removing it from the software which I already bought.
I am going to write a review in JED which will not be beneficial for you at all.

Once again thanks for doing nothing!

Hey Thomas,

The codes in EasyDiscuss is 100% open and there is no restrictions whatsoever. If you open up the file /components/com_easydiscuss/constants.php, you'll see it for your self and it shouldn't be that difficult at all to turn it off. If you actually do a quick search in Google, you'll also get your answers

Please do not threaten us with such remarks, if there are bugs, please post them on the forums and we'll be glad to check on the issues for you

Hm, how do you reproduce this error on the site? When I accessed the site the discussion doesn't look problematic as shown on your screen shot. This is what is appearing for me here, http://screencast.com/t/JU3Qc7UtdQE

Hey Thomas,

Support is only provided for 1 domain only and from the looks of your current license setup, you have associated your license with quickcomplaints.com . Can you please update your license accordingly please?

Also, I don't see how this is a bug if EasyDiscuss works perfectly fine on quickcomplaints.com Anyway, please do provide us with the link to your "other" site

P/S: Each license purchased for Community / Pro entitles you for support for 1 domain only. Should you require additional support, please purchase a separate subscription.
