How to maintain the format in the composer ?

Hello friends
The most important thing in a poem to be published
is to keep the format in which it was created by its author.
For a writer who keeps his chapters to then post,
it is important to keep the format of their novel or story before publication.
My website publishes poems, writings, stories and so far I've managed to keep the format their creators sent me or themselves published online.
The new editing system EB5 "COMPOSER" does not maintain the format of a written 'copy and paste' when performed from an external program (eg MS Word and others.).
I do not want to discuss why most editors that operate in joomla keep the format when added a document to editor
The details in this
is that if I keep my editor JCE as first choice,
to add video function is missing (was removed) ..
At this point I can not see solution, for the moment
I will continue with my old editor to see
if you help me with this problem in the composer.

I am really sorry that delay of this reply,

Unfortunately that was not possible to keep the same format when you copy some where into composer text block.

Perhaps you can copy the html content and paste into HTML block, so it will popular exactly same content format as you copy from.

Regarding with the embed video feature missing in Joomla default editor, we already added back this function in the latest version of Easyblog 5.0.25.

Hello, i have a related question:

Sometimes i have text pasted into the eb composer and formatted. Then i decide to split the text with a read more block. Then i have to add another textblock and a read on block. Then i copy and paste the second part of my already formatted text into then new added textblock – and voila it looks uggly because my formatting is stripped off.

So what is the way to add a read on after styling an article? Maybe i miss something?

Perhaps you can start a new thread from our forums and provide us those unformatted text so I can test in my locally and see how it goes?

But it would be best if you can provide us with your Joomla backend access so I can take a look how is your block structure from your blog content so I can exactly follow what you did from your existing blog post and test in my locally.

Do you mean the `formatted text` is contain HTML code right?

If yes, I will suggest you to use HTML block instead of text block, because the text block will stripped all the HTML code when you copy the content from some where.

Thank you for your answer, but after trying, i can say, it does not work.

What i want to do, is write text in a textblock of eb composer, format it like bold, italic and so on and after that have a way to get it in another textblock without loosing format bold and so on.

When i try to copy it in a html fiels i cant, i have to copy it at the right side in the code editor and there, bold and italic is stripped off.
