How do I create a FAQs or knowledge base using Stackideas products? I am currently using another company's software which has not been updated in 4 years. I need something with better support.

Thanks in advance.
Hello Dietrich,

We don't actually have an FAQ extension but what sort of FAQ are you trying to build?

Something similar to your stackideas documentation for you products with table of contents to the left and information on the right.

Hello Dietrich,

Ah unfortunately right now that FAQ is actually a custom plugin which we built and we do not have such plugins available right now.

I seem to recall asking this same question over a year ago. You had the same answer then. You also do not have support for Amazon S3 downloads in Easyblog which was requested over 4 years ago.

Does anyone at your company listen to your customers?

Hello Dietrich,

It is honestly very unfair to make such accusations. EasyBlog does already support Amazon S3, https://take.ms/146c6 . Not sure what other Amazon S3 download are you talking about.

We try our best to implement features that are requested by customers if the feature / request makes perfect sense for us. We just don't see the need of building a Knowledgebase extension right now.

My apologies. I was not trying to be unfair. FAQ - frequently asked questions are used to answer questions that most users have about a website. It cuts down on the customer support questions that have already been answered. The format is Question followed by the Answer.

Almost every website needs a FAQ. Stackideas has a FAQ. So obviously it is needed.

Thanks for your input on this, we don't actually have a FAQ but we understand that FAQ helps. We will see if there are any more requests like this and see if there is anything that we can do.

@Dietrich Murphy. I must agree 100% of what Mark says bcs Stackideas team is an outstanding Joomla extension developer that is very professional in customer support.

It was good that you apologise bcs what you say is very unfair and wrong.

And a tip is to look at Joomla extension directory where you have FAQ Joomla extensions you can use.

* Stackideas don’t have resources or time to do everything for everyone as all other software developers...

I find this one in 10 sec searching for a Joomla FAQ comp https://demo.minitek.gr/joomla/free/faq-book/documentation

Yes, it seems FAQ section is a must for most websites to reduce customer support load. So it might be a good idea to add it as a plugin for EasyBlog.

But, overall Stackideas rocks .

Using the accordion block could serve as a FAQ since you can have a question and answer-ish approach

We use for all our FAQ's the slider plugin from regular labs:
