How to change truncation right?

Hey, i just updated my Easyblog from an older Version of EB5. Since then i have trouble to understand the truncation right. when set the picture position on the frontpage inside the truncation it shows all pictures inside the entry on the frontpage.
I just want the cover-picture is shown on the frontpage and not all pictures inside a full blog post.
How do i do that?

At the moment i turned the picture on frontpage completly off, because it broke my site when i turn it on.

By the way, i found out its just in one of your themes so, that the cover picture is not shown.
Its the Theme "Nickel" ...

Also inside a blogpost i cant set the cover image on alignment center inside the layout setting. if i set it on center, or right nothing changes. i turned already the site caching off, but still no changing. is there any issue known with the theme "Nickel" ?

yes thank you it works now... so it is an issue inside this theme exactly?
Because i noticed all layout setting dont work on this theme.

Yes, this issue is with "nickel" only This will be fixed in 5.0.17
