Hi,

I have the latest easydiscuss, and trying to set up a discussion forum. I haven't been able to assign moderators to a topic, or receive email notifications when a new topic is posted. I tried searching the forum, but haven't found anything useful. Thanks for any pointers!
I figured out how to turn on the email notification upon page reloading. Why was this not set as default ?

Still not sure why I cannot assign a moderator for a particular topic?

Hello,

In order for you to assign moderators to a discussion, you first need to assign moderators to the category first. This is the only way EasyDiscuss knows who is a moderator for this particular category. You can do so by assigning the user groups in the category permissions Take a look at my screen shot here, http://screencast.com/t/1kcM5pvK

Hi, Mark,

Thanks for your response. I added Managers and Editors to be the moderators, and added one user to be the moderator. However, the Assign Moderator popup still reveals blank choices. Please see the screenshot.

Hello,

Can you pass me your site backend admin access and your ftp account so that I can take a look again on your issue?
Please advise.
