Hello Sky,

In order to assign user to a profile type in ES, go to backend > easy social > users

Then select the user that you want to assign to a profile type and click on the switch profile like its shown in this screen shot http://screencast.com/t/jVkn8Pdy and then select the profile for the selected users as shown in this screen shot http://screencast.com/t/cU5ri7FHAiOn .
