How do you define which category of users can use Discuss?

I am trying to create different user categories. Also I would like to have Guest users use Discuss.
Guest Users will not be able to access the Dashboard however in Social.
How do I do that?
...and redirect them to Discuss Home page, if they are to log in at the same page as EasySocial.
