After using EasyBlog, I really no longer need the hints that pop up all over the place every time I hover over a field, button or option. How do I disable them?
Hello lisa renshaw,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.
may i know which kind of field are you mentioned at above? Perhaps provide us with some screenshot so we can know which part are you referring to? Please advise.

I believe she is referring to the popup hints that come up onscreen while floating the pointer over fields in the administration. When you are working on a blog entry or changing settings, they can get in the way, and if you're a veteran EasyBlog user, you don't need them, or at least don't need them all the time. I'm having the same issue, but can't seem to find a setting to turn them off.

Hello Jim Johnson,

Sorry for late reply to this,
Unfortunately that was no setting to disable this tooltip pop-up function, but you can remove it from this file JoomlaFolder\administrator\components\com_easyblog\views\settings\tmpl\...

Example :
STEP 1 : Check my screenshot below. (if you would like to remove this tooltip - Set the desired blog title that you want to display by default)
STEP 2: So you have to find this language in this file -> JoomlaFolder\administrator\language\en-GB\en-GB.com_easyblog.ini
STEP 3: Once you found it, the language string is should be :
COM_EASYBLOG_SETTINGS_WORKFLOW_BLOG_TITLE_DESC="Set the desired blog title that you want to display by default"

STEP 4: This language string (COM_EASYBLOG_SETTINGS_WORKFLOW_BLOG_TITLE_DESC) is under this file -> JoomlaFolder\administrator\components\com_easyblog\views\settings\tmpl\default_main_general_bootstrap.php (Joomla 3.x)[/b]
If you are using Joomla 2.5 -> you have to modify on this file -> JoomlaFolder\administrator\components\com_easyblog\views\settings\tmpl\default_main_general_joomla.php
STEP 5 : Check my screenshot below how to remove the code by this setting tooltip.
