Hi, I've imported lots of posts successfully. But I can't disable the hit counter on them. I've hidden the hits on Settings > Layout > Post options, but that hasn't helped. I've also tried to click on the default template but there is no hyperlink to select options there (as some query responses indicate). Any suggestions?
Hi John,

It is possible to override the default setting per category as well as per menu items. Have a look at each of them and see if the hits setting are set to "Inherit from default settings"...

Hope this help!

Hey John,

If you still have issue with this, perhaps you can provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access so we can better have a look?

Thanks for sharing Aikigi.

Hi John,

Thanks for the ftp account

Anyway, regarding your issue with the view hits count, I just visit your site and I dont see any hit counter displayed. Please see:
http://screencast.com/t/lgSjmNy32

Is your issue resolved?

For your information, the hit counter in your blog listing page will be controlled from your EasyBlog frontpage menu item -> posts options. As for each blog post the post option from backend setting -> layout -> post option can be override by your category or from your single post menu item

Hope this help and have a nice day!
Sam

Hi, for some reason the hits counter was still displaying after I had disabled it, but as you rightly note it is not displaying any longer. It must have been a caching issue(?).

All is fine now. Thanks for the help.
