hi, just a question about Easyblog Hits Count, Ratings and Jotcache. Do you think there will be any issue with Hits Count - IP Address & Session Tracking and Ratings if i use Jotcache? page cache is recached every 5min with cron, but i'm a bit worried if the Count and Ratings values are correct with used cache!?
I am not really sure how jotcache works. Do they even cache the php stuffs? If they do, then it's definitely going to be problematic.

hi Mark, i'v tested jotcache with Easyblog and the loading time for my site is realy much faster! but i get a Problem with Hits Counter in view=entry pages. ( "IP Address & Session Tracking" are enabled)

each click on a blog entry generates now a new Hit in Counter for the same ip and within same session! Blog entry with 120 Hits increase now to 1200 within one day!

Backend of Jotcache allow to exclude view=entry or view=latest URL from page cache, but then is the loading time again slow. could you test Jotcache with latest Easyblog about this Hits Counter issue?

Well, of course the loading time is faster since they are caching PHP and MySQL. What you are trying to say is that you don't want to run those sql queries but also want to log down user's visits? That really doesn't make any sense at all?

Unfortunately I don't think there's any work around unless you skip the cache but it defeats the purpose.
