Hi there,

Is it possible to hide some tabs from the toolbar for visitors. For example, I do not want visitors to see the tabs Users and Badges. Non registered visitors should not be able to see that kind of information on my site.

Regards,
Ewoud
Hi Ewoud,

Unfortunately it is not possible to hide the certain tab (users and badges) in the toolbars. However, can set the user page only accessible to register user by:
1. Click Easysocial>Settings>Layout>Users>disable Allow Public Guests To View User Profile

For the badges it doesn't have the setting for that currently. Maybe you can try a simple hack for that by download the attached file and replace it in the:
JOOMLA_FOLDER\components\com_easydiscuss\views\badges\view.html.php
and see how it goes?
*you're strongly suggested to make a back up for the file

Hi Muhammad,

Thanks for your reply. I have now disabled the users tab for non registered users. For now that works fine for me.

Regarding the hack for the badges, I leave it for now. I'd rather be working with the default software instead of applying hacks. Thanks anyway for the file.

Regards,
Ewoud
