Just an idea if possible it would be nice for Group Files to have integration with Cloud Drives like OneDrive, DropBox, GoogleDrive/Google Docs, etc but at least these 3 commonly used services.

I have several people asking for how are they going to collaborate with a File? Yes they can each download it and re-upload it but that's cumbersome, people are getting lazy now a days Most of the people who asked for this are using GoogleDocs so it would be nice to see Group Files can share GoogleDocs file and when clicked or View(ed) it will take Users directly to GoogleDocs for Editing. I don't know if there are API for GoogleDocs that we can set and use one account for the Group (Configured in Group Management view), so when a User wants to Edit a GoogleDocs file they don't have to login to Google Account but rather the API in Group Files will login automatically I hope this is possible.

What do you guys think? Mark? I'm just throwing ideas, ES will be so cool if there's a feature like this. If you guys remember Azrul who originally started Jomsocial created a new project called "Offiria" which was designed to be a Social Collaboration system. The last time I played around with Offiria is it still lacking Privacy features which Jomsocial lacks as well. but Offiria offers collaboration as a Group which Jomsocial doesn't have. But... EasySocial made that combination why use 2 different System when ES can do 2-in-one? Mark you are awesome! and your team too! I hope you guys will continue to add new features to Groups in the future.

Thanks,

Jackson
Yep, I think this is a great idea but before we move towards that, we want to improve the group's file sharing first

Joomla! 3.3 (general availability) is due to be released on or around April 22, 2014 will include the Cloud API for Rack Force, Google Drive and Dropbox.

. The planned milestones are:

April 15 – Release Candidate (RC)
April 22 – Stable Release

Integrating the Google Apps API would be the huge advantage for EasySocial. a HUGE Thumbs up here if this was implemented.

This kind of news is more and more what I wanted to listen, just to prove that I made the right choice when I choose your package (EasySocial, EasyDiscuss and EasyBlog).
Thanks in advance!
