Group Category - ordering not functioning

Hi Team,

I am not sure if it's a bug or something. I found the Group Category - Ordering is not function in ES 1.2.7 (Sorry this is my first version) under Joomla 3.2.3, using a standard backend template.

- press "Ordering" title to enable the re-ordering button
- click any arrow (up or down) has no effect
- Type the order number for categories and press "ENTER" at the end, still no effect
- I can see all categories are now in order "0"
- No error (no JS error) from the Chrome inspector console

Hi,

Yup it is a bug and this will be patched in the next version.

If you would like me to patch it now for you, please provide me your site's access and FTP access.

Thanks for your kind offer but I guess I can wait until your next release and don't want to waste up your resources for our next excitement!! I am very looking forward to the EVENT function which will come soon haha.....

Hi Mark,

Confirmed the reordering "arrow" works fine. However, if I key in the order manually and press enter at the end, it doesn't work. I guess if it's not work like this (for user to type the order and press enter to execute), I suggest to grey-out the input field.
