It seems that if you put an address in a post on FB and there's a FB Group associated with that address, it will show a preview (logo and description) of that Group in the post..is that possible in ES to show the corresponding ES Group at the same address??
I do not really understand you here. Can you provide us with some sample urls?

There's no url..it's when a user posts to their timeline/status update then they try to social share that same post to their FB account

sorry, I got your response confused with another ticket I have open..I have attached a screenshot of how FB does it..can ES do something similar?

Unfortunately you can't achieve this as this is only for Facebook generated objects.
