Now for those of you paying attention EasyBlog4 is being skipped and so my assumption is that this will be included in EasyBlog5 which is to come out soon. I am certainly going to be pleased to have blogs autopost to Google+

If they implement it, it will be for Google+ Pages only as this is all Google is allowing right now via their API.

Poor choice in my mind, but they didn't ask me first...

Because before that the Google API only allow read only, so there were no way to sync your updates around all networks including Google Plus.
Is it the Google API already updated allow read and write? Please advise.

I, too, have been waiting for an autopost to Google+ for a very long time. Please make this happen!

We are sorry but this is not possible as we have already tried this in EasyBlog 5. Google+ is restricting this and we have no way around this unfortunately.

So it can be done in WordPress (has for a long time), but not for Joomla?

Looks like I'll need to change blogging platforms when I got to Joomla 3 this winter.

I would site like to know how it can be done in Word Press and not in Joomla. Jerry Britton, can you please point us in some direction to prove it is being done in WordPress. I really need to be able to auto post to my Google+ pages in order to save a ton of time!

I was doing it in WP prior to switching to the Joomla platform about two years ago. Forget the name of the extension, but I believe there are actually several that do this.

Doing a Google search for "auto post to google+ from wordpress" seems to validate Jerry's claim. Also I searched for Joomla and some extensions claim to be able to auto post Joomla content to Google plus.

Not having a WP site, I'm not going to validate any of these, but a quick search on the WP site reveals several extensions that claim to post to Google+...

After did some reading, I found this:

There is an API for posting to Google+ Pages, but Google is restricting this feature to approved services. Apparently WordPress.com is one of those services

It is not a solid statement but seems it is a good point why Joomla can't post to Google Plus. And until now, Google Plus still haven't release the API for write.
