Hi,

Thanks for the reply.
Yes we can organise that, what we can do is give you guys a team viewer access that any access you guys need we can organise on the spot.

What time ca we do this? (Sydney Time).
This issue is quite urgent we really need to have this images going live asap.

Also another question how we can change the wording "Hits" to something else?

Thanks.

Hi Lisa Papallo,

Sorry for late reply to this,

Unfortunately we are not available meet you on teamviewer.

*Perhaps you can put the information in the optional information field below(SITE DETAILS). Don't worry about privacy. Only Support team can view the information.

Regarding with your second question :
>> The Easyblog 'hits' language constant is COM_EASYBLOG_HITS_TOTAL .
So you can take a look of this Joomla language override documentation -> https://www.solidres.com/documentation/13-configuration/26-how-to-create-language-overrides-for-solidres-in-joomla then add in your Joomla backend.

Hi Arlex,

We can arrange to send you the web files and a database dump for you to assemble our site in your infrastructure to work on.

NB Of course we don't use FTP and never will as that is incredibly insecure. SFTP only.

Notes from troubleshooting:
- site: test.torrens.edu.au (tst-www-torrens-edu-au)
- issue: can upload, but can't browse images or shared images when using inbuuilt easyblog editor
- there are several messages in the error logs (PHP level is notice), but they do not seem to be relevant to the issue
- checked permissions - fine
- tried different browser - no difference
- tried to upload file through joomla media manager - fine
- tried to change easyblog images path from images/easy_blog to /images/easy_blog or the /var/www/www-torrens-edu-au/web/images/easy_blog - no difference
- tried to switch between browsing and upload mode from an easy_blog popup window (within text editor) - does not work
- used upload function above editor - works
- checked location of uploaded file - correct (images/easy_blog)
- uninstalled easyblog, deleted easyblog database tables and reinstalled easyblog - no difference
- checked and modified easyblog_mediamanager table to contain easyblog entry for images and shared images folder referencing localhost site and correct location (images/easy_blog/245 and 246) - no difference
- tried to use inbuilt chrome development tools to identify network or javascript errors - found javascript errors when uploading or switching between browse and upload mode
- javascript place variable value is undefined
- replaced minified version of javascript with non-minified version for troubleshooting and if the minified version is not broken - no difference
- checked easyblog php file - components/com_easyblog/classes/mediamanager.php - confirmed path again - troubleshooting not finished - logged ticket with support

Hey there,

I believe we have fixed your issues via Teamviewer and just in case other users are wondering what was the fix, there was basically a redirection going on in the web server's layer where if you access the site at http://site.com/?option=com_easyblog , it is being redirected to http://site.com/index.php?option=com_easyblog . These redirection causes the POST data via AJAX to be discarded.
