Frontpage Pagination not appearing

Hello,
I am having a issue where the pagination isn't working on the frontpage. I have altered the settings in Layout > Pagination but doesn't seem to do anything. I am using the Nickel Easyblog theme.

Found the solution now. It was a matter of going to the menu item settings for Easyblog and change the field '# Items per Page' and change it from '10' to 'Inherit From Easyblog Pagination Settings'
