Hi Guys

On our home page http://www.aapeducation.com.au please scroll to bottom blog titled Creating Clinical Success. When you click on Clinical Kit Newsletter link it goes to a 404 error.

Our web designer checked and said;
"It is not handling SEF url property for the category.

URL should be http://aapeducation.com.au/blog/categories/clinical-kit-newsletters.html"

Please check it out.

Cheers

Doug
Hey Doug,

Is it possible for you to provide us with the back end and FTP access to your site to check on this issue?

To add your access, simply edit your first post above or head on to http://stackideas.com/dashboard/site to insert your site access once only.

Hi Mark

I added those details into the dashboard section so you can access the site.

Thanks

Hey Doug,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as I was a little occupied with some development works. I have checked your site and it looks like the menu item that you have created is for the featured layout view and there isn't any menu item that links to the front page blog layout. I have changed the "blog" menu and it works fine now

Cheers Mark.

What is your suggestion about the easiest way to transfer my AcyMailing newsletters directly into Easy Blog, ideally maintaining the formatting to save time not reformatting.

Okay - just that before (probably 6 months plus) I could copy all and paste directly into EasyBlog and it was the same. I think when Easybolg went to the 'Blocks' format this stopped.

What about adding via a html block?

I have tried to add a html block to a post, but it doesnt allow me to copy and paste into the block.

There is a bug with the HTML block and I would strongly advise that you switch to the normal WYSIWYG editor if the new composer is not your cup of tea

Sounds a good option. Perhaps I can then cut and past the newsletter also.
Is that by applying a different module or a toggling a setting ?

Hi Mark

FYI under the Editor options is one headed 'Acy Mailing Editor'. If I select this and then cut and paste the html code into EasyBlog from an AcyMailing newsletter via the 'source' button, it all comes across, including pics and links.

Other question;
I have activated Joomla > Components > EasyBlogs > Settings > Social Integrations > Facebook
then
Joomla > Components > EasyBlog > Settings > Comments > Integrations

I don't achieve the same comments section as indicated in the last part of this guide

http://stackideas.com/docs/easyblog/administrators/comments/integrating-with-facebook-comments

Thanks

Doug
