Hi Team,

I try to enable the K2 Article authors to moderate their own comments from front-end... but still no luck, please show me some lights and thanks.

I've done follow steps already..
- ACL > K2 > Enable a group of author to have "Edit Authored Content's Comment", "Delete Authored Content's Comment", "Publish Authored Content's Comment", "Unpublish Authored Content's Comment", "Stick Authored Content's Comment", and "Delete Authored Content's Attachment"
- Configurations> Advance> Enable Admin Mode = YES

and I still cannot see the moderation button from the post (or where should I moderate my article's comments?) ... for the K2 article author = me.

Please guide me for which part still missing. Thanks.

Best regards,
Alfred / Dreamonde
Hello Dreamonde,

I am sorry for the inconvenience caused.

About Komento multiple access group, it is a little bit different. Komento uses different multiple access group in which if the user is assign to "registered & editor" the user will inherit the registered user group function. It is like reverse access ability. Here the example: The "on" function will be override by "off" function. Just like in your case, registered user group cannot moderate the post, it will override the editor user group ability to moderate post.

I really hope you can understand this.
Hope this will help.
Thanks.

Hi Yaaser,

I found the caused. User with multiple access group (eg: Registered User & Editor) will caused the issue. May I confirm that for user with multiple groups, which rules below will apply?

- Most restricted rights
- The group with lower level (more close to root level)
- The first group assigned

Please advise and thanks.

Best regards,
Alfred / Dreamonde

Hi Yasser,

Thanks for your advise. Not sure if possible in future - to change rule (or provide option to change this rule) for ON overriding OFF; as this is most cases for user rights management.

Thanks.

Alfred
