Hello
Before buying your product EasySocial, I would like to know if it is compatible with Joomla! ACL and with other extension like FlexiContent, particularly :
- Is it possible to restrict the acces of a FlexiContent item-article to an EasySocial friend group ?
Best regards
Laurent
Hey Laurent,

Unfortunately EasySocial does not have such feature to limit the accessibility of an item from Joomla article or Flexicontent.

Having said the above, profile types in EasySocial are also associated with Joomla user groups as well. If you set the permissions of the article on Joomla / Flexicontent, you can achieve similar results by creating a profile type accordingly.

This means, if you have an EasySocial profile, you can choose which other EasySocial profile can see your Joomla / Flexicontent article ?

No you can't. You need to set the visibility of the items on Joomla articles / Flexicontent to the correct Joomla user group.

Ok, so what sort of similar custom elements (as Joomla / Flexicontent articles) can be private (visible by EasySocial friend-group only) ?
- Articles with elements from other CCK ? K2 ? ...?

Hm, I am not really sure about your question but we do not add any new fields on Joomla / Flexicontent / K2. These "viewing rights" is determined by the extension itself.
