Hi - two questions. First, I dont see a "forgot username" option on the login page. How do I enable that?

Second, I'm trying to setup different templates for login, forgot username and password pages. But even when I have created PUBLIC menu items for those three pages, the site always routes to my easysocial dashboard. For example, my forgotpassword page is:

site.com/forgotpassword

but when a user clicks "forgot password" from the login page, the path becomes:

site.com/social/account/forgotpassword

Can we not force people to the page we want? Even if I put the forgot password page under my dashboard, the "social" menu item, people are not directed to the forgotpassword menu item that I created.
Hello Marco,

If you already created a menu item that links to "Forgotten Passsowrd", it should use the appropriate menu alias accordingly. Is this not working for you? Are you on the latest version?

Yah I just updated to v1.2.8. Here's what I've got for menus:

- mainmenu has a public menu linking to ES Dashboard with alias "social"
- guestmenu has guest menu with links to login, register, forgot username and forgot password with aliases "login", "register", "forgotusername" and "forgotpassword"

When a guest tries to access the dashboard, they are redirected to mysite.com/login so that works. Also, mysite.com/register works fine. But forgotpassword redirects to mysite.com/social/account/forgotpassword. I cant seem to enable the "forgotusername" link at all. And if I manually try to go to the urn mysite.com/forgotpassword, Im redirected to /login. Something definitely isnt right somewhere.

Any thoughts?

Is it possible for you to provide us with the back end and FTP access to your site to check on this issue?
